Lead Service Designer

We are now looking for a leading Service Designer to be responsible for the service design and data modeling of Telia Cygate’s new IT service management portal. In this role, your key responsibilities are the data modeling of our services for our new service management environment and the maintenance and development of this data model. The task is new in our organization, so we expect you to have the ability to map and outline the current situation, describe and model our services, create the best operating models, and implement, maintain and develop these models.

In this role, you are playing an important role in building our new service production platform . In your role, you describe and model our services on the IT service portal. You design and implement portal service forms. You act as a product owner of service modeling on the development train of our service portal. You maintain and optimize the data model of the service portal and make changes to it as needed as our customers and services evolve. If necessary, you train our customers and other stakeholders in your area of ​​responsibility. You understand that you can’t do everything yourself, but you can implement measures and develop our operating culture, if necessary, by utilizing your stakeholder skills.

The position is located in our Offering unit, which is responsible for the overall commercial management of Telia Cygate’s products, services and partnerships. Our mission is to guarantee customer satisfaction with our services and to manage our product and service offering holistically. Our unit works closely with the organization.

What do we expect from you

In this task, you can use your previous experience or skills:

• Service design and / or data modeling
• For the production of technical service descriptions
• Acting as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
• Operating within the framework of Agile Development (SAFe)
• Knowledge of the ServiceNow service management environment and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
• Customer or user training
• Working in the ICT business and service offering
• Knowledge of the Atlassian product family (Jira)

In addition to these, you have a self-directed and systematic approach to work, good cooperation and stakeholder skills, as well as the ability to perceive entities and relationships between things, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills in Finnish and English.
