Service Designer

As a service designer, you play a key role in creating meaningful and business-growing services for our customers that do not cause digital frustration in their users. You identify the customer’s needs and know how to bring them to life in the form of online services that utilize the customer together with user interface designers and coders.

As a Service Designer, the most important tasks of your job are:

• Understanding the customer’s needs and creating business-oriented online service concepts using data and analytics
• Designing user paths for websites and online services
• Planning and facilitating customer workshops
• Assisting in tender work

In addition to these, you support our developers to put the plans into practice as an important member of the project team. We also consider experience in user interface or visual design an advantage, but it is not a prerequisite for success in the work of a service designer.

As a Service Designer, you will be part of a new team in the formation phase and at the same time also have a strong influence and share your vision in the development of Exove’s design processes. We are looking for growth for our design activities in the coming years, which will allow us to offer growth and development opportunities for your career path as well.

What kind of guy are we looking for?

You already have several years of experience designing online services, and you may have already worked as a service designer in, for example, a consulting firm, a digital office or a product house. As a designer, you appreciate good usability and you are already familiar with accessibility. You also have experience with digital design tools such as Miro or Figma, and you also take on learning new tools and practices with curious enthusiasm.

You are self-directed and have strong problem-solving skills. Stepping into the user’s shoes comes naturally to you and you know how to take the needs of different users into account. Strong interaction skills are your advantage when working with different stakeholders, and you communicate fluently in both Finnish and English. Above all, we hope you have an energetic attitude and the courage to take the reins in any situation!

The monthly salary in the role is between €3,500 and €4,500, depending on your experience.
