Systematic
The team: Join our strategic Defence Service Development team in Aarhus
Defence Service Development is responsible for continually strengthening the services that support our customers’ everyday-ready C4I capabilities. Our mission is to support our customers’ operational success and readiness by guiding, standardising, and continuously improving service offerings across the SitaWare product suite.
Based primarily in Aarhus, Denmark, the team brings together competencies within service design, military domain knowledge, solution architecture, portfolio management and business analytics. We work at a strategic level, but always with an operational mindset – evolving existing concepts, service definitions and delivery models to ensure they remain relevant, usable and effective. Our delivery model incorporates industrial standards, methodology and processes that embrace customers’ day-to-day activities while ensuring technological leadership in supporting their digital transformation.
You will report to the Director of Defence Service Development and collaborate closely with the team in Aarhus while engaging extensively with stakeholders across all constellations worldwide.
You bring: Experience in developing and enhancing operational services
You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience working with service design or service development for complex digital solutions, where you have both developed new services and improved, structured and matured existing service offerings to support operational delivery. You hold a Master’s degree – ideally in Service System Design, Strategy, Technology-Based Business Development or a comparable field that demonstrates your analytical and strategic capabilities.
We are looking for a profile that:
• has strong experience in developing, strengthening and refining services for digital products and systems, with emphasis on clarity, consistency and operational robustness
• is skilled in improving service definitions and delivery models for complex technical and organisational environments
• applies service design and systems thinking to enhance predictability and reduce operational risk
• has strong English communication skills (oral and written), with an independent and structured approach to addressing complex challenges
It would be a plus if you also bring:
• experience working with large-scale enterprise or defence solutions and established delivery organisations
• familiarity with agile and system-oriented ways of working, focused on continuous improvement and operational outcomes
