As a Senior Service Designer, you will apply your craft to facilitate a collaborative approach to prototype and define our future services, focusing on how our technology and automation can shape and support that future.

This will be a knotty, challenging problem requiring system-level thinking. Your ability to coach and foster collaboration will be key, along with an ability to present and defend holistic concepts at the top and bottom of the organisation.

You will be part of a team of fellow designers with different backgrounds, where frequent collaboration and knowledge sharing is central to our ways of working.

Together with cross-disciplinary teams, you’ll work holistically across the Transported By Maersk Platform Portfolio and play an important part in optimizing the network and transporting the cargo.

  • Work with Senior and Lead UX’ers on developing and driving the strategic direction for design
  • Work with Senior and Lead UX’ers to establish relevant metrics aligned to the design strategy and actively measuring against them
  • Engage with various stakeholders and users through co-creation workshops and similar to understand the problem space
  • Make conceptual ideas and low-fi prototypes
  • Utilise qualitative and quantative research methods to gather data

To do this job, we imagine you have the following qualifications:

  • MA/MSc in Service Design, HCI, Product Design, or a related field
  • Experience working in an agile development process and/or Iterative environment – and an environment that is undergoing large change.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently with stakeholders while liaising and reviewing with fellow designers
  • Proven ability to collaborate and to communicate ideas, methods and outcomes – verbally and written.
  • Experience working in complex organizations is a plus
