Service Designer

As a Service Designer you will be responsible for deeply understanding all the processes, people and tools our customers have and be able to identify all the pain points and the variables that will help us build Aravita’s product. Furthermore, your role is strategic to the company, since we are creating more than a tech product: Aravita’s vision is to build a complete service with an incredible customer experience. In order to achieve this we expect you to collaborate with customers, product and business teams, data scientists and engineers.
You will also:
- Lead quantitative and qualitative researches and interviews, ideation processes, create client journey mappings, manage our hypothesis testing and other design and product frameworks
- Need to have availability to visit multiple clients in person, specially in São Paulo
- Take care of the entire client experience, iterating quickly to deliver the best product and service
- Develop and deliver progress and results documentation/presentations
- Need to have flexibility to do what is needed for a company in its early days, especially with a compact team. This includes working with user experience and interface of Aravita’s tech product.
- Have to be very business oriented, finding patterns among customers, focusing on creating solutions that help us scale and not overfitting it to few customers
Your Skills and Experience
Education and Work Experience
- 3+ years of work experience in Service Design/ Product Strategist (StartUps or Design Consulting Firms preferred)
- Proven experience in designing product and services that have been launched and generated positive results
- Experience working with Artificial Intelligence products/services is preferred
Your Skills
- Deep expertise in design thinking/human-centered design
- Experience crafting a project vision, execution strategy, client relationship and team collaboration
- Strong abilities in mapping and documenting processes, pain points, opportunities and learnings
- Ability to influence prioritization in an agile environment. Adapt to shifting priorities with openness and agility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to work well in cross functional teams.
- Motivated self-starter, results-oriented with strong communication and customer focus.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work with a range of technologies and languages with an open mind and without bias
- A constant learner, actively interested in updating skill sets and knowledge, following trends in the Design and StartUps community
