Service Designer

This is the job:
For our iO campus Antwerp we are looking for a Service Designer to strengthen our team. In this role you will participate in creating and shaping better digital experiences where the needs of the users and the customer are central. You will join the current service design team and work closely with other teams such as our strategists, researchers, UX designers and the development team. You will work for A-list clients from a wide range of sectors such as government, education, retail, banking & insurance, FMCG and more.

This is you:
● You have a good knowledge of service design and have also worked as a service designer on digital services for a number of years. Background in product development is a plus.
● You can function independently as a point of contact and confidential advisor for the customer, and you
support them in creating a user-centric mindset within their organization.
● You think empathically and proactively with the customer about new initiatives to improve the
user experience.
● You think from the perspective of the customer journey in its entirety, across all channels and about the entire life cycle of the user.
● You enjoy moderating workshops with different stakeholders. Digital tools such as Miro or Mural are no stranger to this.
● You are creative and can easily illustrate concepts or ideas visually. Tools such as Sketch and Figma are no stranger to you.
● You can conduct user interviews yourself.
● You have strong organizational skills and can manage design and/or development teams to further develop service design projects.
● You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
● You are independent and able to plan and estimate your work.
● You are flexible, reliable and have a real hands-on mentality.
● You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Understanding the French language is a requirement, speaking it yourself is a plus.
● In the meantime, you have built up a nice portfolio that reflects your skills.
