The Role
DXC Technology are looking for an experienced Service Designer for a long term project with a leading Federal Government agency in Canberra. As part of the role you will be responsible for driving discovery processes, including discovery workshops and interview facilitation, user research and story mapping to work towards solution design and delivery. This role will contribute significantly towards the identification of Customer Experience (CX) process improvements in order to drive growth for the department and its customers/stakeholders.
This role also supports the improvement of customer experience through researching emerging trends in human-centered design, innovation and customer experience.
The role is responsible for supporting human-centered design and customer experience design to drive innovation across the organisation, putting customers at the center of every decision. The role works with Shared Services Leaders and staff to assist the redesign processes and systems using human-centered design methodologies and tools including but not limited to design thinking, customer journey mapping, personas and customer interviews.
Experience and a deep practice in:
- Service Design
- Leading the Discovery & Alpha activities through user research and user testing
- Developing Service Blueprint
- Journey mapping
- Leading the creation of prototypes through ideation
- Developing Epic Canvases & Outcome Canvases
- Working with the Product Owner and business to understanding the user needs etc
