As a senior consultant at Objective Experience, you will be responsible for delivering optimal customer experience solutions to our clients’ challenges. You’re a passionate self-motivated individual who is excited not only to be working for one of Australia’s leading, privately-owned CX consultancies, but also the variety of projects across our blue-chip clients and government agencies.

Your passion for research goes beyond the digital landscape and into service delivery, by understanding how customer research fits within the entire service eco-system.

You will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be working with inspiring and talented consultants from all over the world, who love to share ideas and collaborate; in our beautiful waterfront studio on King st Wharf Darling Harbour Sydney.

For now we are all working remote, but still socialise online through social drinks, interactive and collaborative workshops, Zooming Lunch Pizza’a and much more!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the MD and Client teams to propose strategic methodologies and new approaches to business challenges with our clients.
  • Lead projects that include all UX activities and outputs; heuristics, stakeholder engagements, personas and CVP’s, customer journey mapping, Service blueprints, Research and strategic design outputs
  • Create and/or manage design outputs: wireframes & prototypes for research activities.
  • Develop and optimise UX designs including information architecture and user/workflows.
  • Demonstrate excellent Account Management and Project Management skills, with the ability to bring projects within a fixed timeframe.
  • Mentor and contribute to ongoing professional development among colleagues; Design Thinking techniques, internal processes and high-quality deliverables.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong leadership skills; Account Management, Project Management, Strategy and Research
  • 5+ years’ experience in a UX/CX role
  • Bachelor’s Degree: ideally in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Org Psych or Social Science.
  • Passion for making complex interactions simple, and making large amounts of information digestible.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of user experience principles and practices including design thinking methodology
  • Proven experience in scoping, costing and delivering UX strategy engagements
  • Ability to move fast, listen, quickly incorporate feedback and adapt.
  • Relentless collaboration; demonstrating confidence, empathy and patience when managing internal team & client relations.
  • Autonomy – great at managing your own projects and time management
  • Mentoring – great at motivating a project team at all times to deliver their very best

Nice to haves

Software used – Adobe suite, Axure, Sketch, InVision, Omnigraffle, Userzoom, Optimal sort, etc.

UI design expertise, UX artefacts (infographics, illustrated user journeys, wireframes, story telling)

A love for travel and new experiences.
