Your New Role
Please note this is an initial 12 month fixed term.
We are seeking a Senior Service Designer to join our dynamic Member Experience team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify and implement human-centered design and design thinking approaches to create exceptional member and business value. You will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams to craft engaging and differentiated member experiences that align with our business objectives and operational realities. This role will also involve leading design sprints in key projects, supporting the development and advocacy of the Service Design practice, and contributing your expertise to our organization’s growth.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Senior experience in Human-Centered Design (HCD), with a specific focus on Service Design and Strategic Design
- Proven experience in translating research insights into actionable concepts and artifacts, such as personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, and more
- Experience in financial services or a large, complex organization in a hands-on design role
- Demonstrated experience in working on design projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- A deep knowledge of, and experience with, human-centered design (HCD) and design thinking methodologies
- A proactive and hands-on approach to achieving the best outcomes for members while considering business objectives and delivery constraints
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong balance between visionary thinking and pragmatism
- Excellent engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
