Service Designer

Full Time

Akademikernes A-kasse

We are looking for a Service Designer for a maternity leave position in our MIO (Member Insights and Experiences) team.

The temporary position runs for 12 months.

Become part of a committed team

You will become part of our Member Services department, whose overall purpose is to create value for our members and help them move forward in their working lives – regardless of the transition or situation they are in.

We offer a unique opportunity in a dedicated MIO (Member Insights and Experiences) team of 4 colleagues, working to translate member insights into coherent member journeys and strong member meetings. You will play a central role in strengthening the user-centric approach throughout Akademikernes A-kasse – both when we develop specific member offers and services, and when we support the rest of the organization in thinking in terms of member journeys and creating a good experience across all touchpoints.

We depend on each other’s expertise, and you will both contribute your own expertise and actively use the skills of your colleagues to create results. You will both drive your own processes from start to finish and participate in larger projects where you are responsible for user involvement, testing and learning. In this way, you help develop both our membership offerings and the entire way we meet members.

Your tasks

  • Research and insights: Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies – both structured and exploratory – to understand member behavior and experiences.
  • Experiments : Design and run experiments as a method – from hypotheses and test design to testing, collecting learning and measuring impact, so that the organization has a solid basis for decisions.
  • User tests : Organize and conduct tests of specific solutions in the business and recommend that the results be translated into improvements.
  • Member journeys: Map, identify pains and gains, translate a member journey into a strong narrative, move from holistic to the very detailed level of the member journey.
  • Communication: Visualize and present insights in a clear and engaging way, making them easy to understand and act on.

Is that you?

We imagine that you have a relevant master’s degree from, for example, ITU, AAU, a design school or something else – and you preferably have 2-5 years of experience from a similar position. You have a fundamental curiosity about people and their perspectives and situations, which are the core DNA of the way of working. You possess strong methodological skills in both qualitative and quantitative studies and preferably have knowledge of experimental working methods and measurements. Your professional toolbox contains skills in service design, UX, CX and user involvement, and you have the ability to translate insights into action and solution proposals. It is natural for you to take responsibility for an entire process or participate as a specialist in a larger project, and you can collaborate closely with colleagues and actively use their expertise to create better member experiences. As a strong communicator, you can make complex insights visual and accessible, and with great commitment you are able to contribute to strong team collaboration.
