Service Designer + UX Design (Contract)

The Rare Make It Personal Team is designing a new “benefits” service for mid- and large-scale companies that will help them engage employees in high-impact individual actions to address climate change. Corporations get a new way to engage talent while supporting ESG goals and employees get meaningful incentives to take action. We need a skilled designer with a mix of capabilities in both service design and digital user experience design to help us orchestrate, craft, and pilot the service.

The Service Designer + UX Design Consultant will be responsible for the following key deliverables:

  • Coordinating the employee end-to-end experience as a journey map and living service blueprint
  • Designing and tailoring (mostly digital) touchpoints for the service
  • Working with team to integrate capabilities of third-party suppliers into the experience
  • Designing behavior-centered incentives within the piloted experience
  • Collaborating with writer and creative team to develop tools necessary for implementing the experience

You would work with a team including a product manager, and operations manager, behavior scientist, and copywriter. Experience with employee engagement and corporate benefits programs is a plus. It’s preferred to work with a designer in sync with the U.S. East Coast time zone.
