As a Senior Customer Experience Designer, you will play an active role in a world-class design team that is at the heart of a brand’s strategy, be an essential part of a dynamic structure that sits within the corporate Innovation team of Signify and whose mission is to deliver meaningful insights and value to the business by leveraging the power of a strong in-house design function.

What You’ll Do

  • Compile a robust understanding of Public customers & stakeholders, their journey, core touch points in their service experience, and identifying critical elements that go beyond the surface.
  • You will be working in a highly collaborative cross functional team environment, challenged to use customer experience and service design approaches, while joining forces with business and market partners to reveal a best in class understanding of the market we operate in and the service offer that will allow us to grow.
  • Engage in research, facilitate working sessions with customers and relevant stakeholders, crystalizing and communicating the complexity of the market and our operations in a simple, impactful way.
  • Create strategic storytelling and communication design approaches that will allow you to co-create in collaboration with Marketing and Communications compelling content that works across different communication platforms.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in Customer Experience Design and establish a plan for growth.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Graphic/ Communication Design or New Media (or comparable work experience), and a graduate degree or relevant training, in Business Management and Administration (MBA desirable).
  • Min. 5 years of relevant design management consulting experience, using human-centered design, design thinking principles or methods, preferably in a consultancy/ agency setting.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in planning, designing, facilitating and synthesizing workshops and other relevant people research methods.
  • Min. 3 years of experience creating experience maps, user journeys and service blueprints.
  • Good experience across a variety of media (print, motion, web) including fluency in some of the following software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Sketch, Figma, Keynote, Microsoft Office.
  • Particular depth in one of the following areas is preferred;
    • Systems thinking: design of processes, flows, diagrams, algorithms, ecologies.
    • Business management: transformation, quantitative and analytical skills, business practices and commercial awareness.
    • Strategic storytelling: copywriting, product messaging, digital marketing, PR, social media, journalism.
    • Visual interaction design: creating beautiful and systemic screen-based interactions.
