As a Service Design Lead you will drive the team that defines how we serve, support and empower our vehicles owners through our Rivian services, including education, customer support, insurance, warranty, vehicle service and roadside assistance.
What you’ll be doing:
Through embedding yourself within our organization and service centers, you will become a subject matter expert on the needs of our owners and how we, as a team, can build a world class experience to support them.
Day to day you’ll be working cross functionally with designers and your research, product and engineering partners to define opportunities, create solutions and see those all the way through to launch and then, work out how to improve them.
What you’ll need:
  • Service designer with 7+ years experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Familiarity and experience with multi-modal research methods
  • Familiarity working with analytics and data to generate insights
  • Great communication skills and a history of teamwork and collaboration
  • Experience working in partnership with product, engineering and business leads.
  • Comfortable with mapping, wire-framing, prototyping and mixed-fidelity design work.
  • Comfortable facilitating working sessions and workshops
  • A desire to get into the field and learn first hand
  • Ability to guide projects from conception through to launch
