The opportunity
We are looking for a UX / Service Designer who is passionate about the potential for new technology to transform how healthcare is delivered and the improvements it can make to patients and their wellbeing.

The product you’ll help to build empowers healthcare providers to be more efficient and effective by enabling patients to get instant advice about their symptoms. You’ll also have the opportunity to help adapt features from our product for external, international clients.

Your role and responsibilities:
You’ll work across the Doctorlink app and our client platform, considering the experiences of all the people affected by each service.
You’ll be collaborative, actively engaging stakeholders of various backgrounds and functions, both internal and external, in the service design process.
You will work iteratively, using an exploratory, adaptive, and experimental approach to constantly iterate towards implementation.

You will create and improve processes, assets and culture to influence and drive our customer experience forward.

You’ll give thoughtful and actionable visual design feedback to the rest of our design team.
You’ll work closely with Engineers to help implement designs to a high degree of quality.

Requirements

Your skills and experience:
You’ll have experience in service design and are confident that you can instigate positive changes across multiple parts of a service.
You have gained experience as a junior or mid-level designer in your previous role(s), and are ready to take on more responsibilities within a smart, supportive and growing Design and UX team.
You have highly refined visual design skills and the ability to communicate the rationale and intent behind decisions.
You’ll have a thorough understanding of how people move around a service, being confident in creating artifacts which help to define and communicate this to others.
You have experience working on digital products that users can access on any device, ideally in both a B2C and B2B context.
You understand the importance of data and regular testing and use these to guide and support design decisions.
You have experience working within agile digital teams and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
You are an excellent self-starter who’s hungry to learn and to share knowledge with other members of the team.
