We are seeking a Senior Service Designer with a strong background in crafting seamless and impactful digital service experiences, particularly within a product tech company environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our new vision is brought to life seamlessly in the digital space. You’ll work across all teams and every domain to ensure that all digital touchpoints are flawless, creating a cohesive and exceptional experience for our users. This is a great opportunity to own service design end to end.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure Seamless Implementation of Vision: Lead the digital service design process to bring our innovative vision to life, ensuring that all digital touchpoints across the user journey are cohesive and deliver a flawless user experience.

  • Collaborate Across Teams and Domains: Partner with product managers, engineers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders across the organization to ensure a unified and seamless digital service experience.

  • Develop Service Blueprints and Journey Maps: Create and maintain detailed service blueprints and customer journey maps that define key interactions and identify opportunities for improvement within digital services.

  • Conduct User Research: Engage in user research to gather insights and validate service design concepts, ensuring that user needs and pain points are thoroughly addressed in the design process.

  • Facilitate Workshops and Co-Design Sessions: Lead workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders to generate ideas, align on service strategies, and refine service touchpoints.

  • Advocate for Service Excellence: Champion the role of service design in creating exceptional user experiences, promoting best practices, and ensuring that all service touchpoints align with our vision.

  • Mentor and Guide: Support and mentor junior service designers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • Product Tech Company Experience: Must have experience in a product tech company, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to design and implement comprehensive digital service experiences.

  • Extensive Digital Service Design Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in digital service design, with a proven track record of leading successful service design projects from concept to completion.

  • Strong Communication Abilities: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex service design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Service Design Methodologies: Expertise in service blueprinting, journey mapping, and related methodologies, coupled with a deep understanding of service design principles.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, bringing together diverse perspectives to create cohesive and innovative digital service solutions.

  • User-Centered Approach: A strong advocate for the user, with a deep understanding of user research and a commitment to designing digital services that meet real user needs.
