Service Designer

An overview of the role

We are looking for a Service Designer, with the level of skills and experience required to help develop and grow our User Centred Design capability.  In this crucial role, you’ll work with end users, internal stakeholders and senior clients to identify key needs and challenges, influence strategic end to end solutions and nurture a user-first culture throughout the organisation.

Why this role?

In this role, you will have an opportunity to help shape a public sector design capability, using your skills and experience to creatively solve complex internal and external problems using design led thinking.

The success of role will need someone who can:

• Create high-quality design deliverables that express user needs, journeys and experiences;
• Use engaging storytelling and visual methods to demonstrate the outcomes of user centred research and design to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Lead and support the design, running and facilitation of workshops with multi-discipline teams;
• Contribute to the development of new value propositions for existing and new clients as well as present the Humanise offering where necessary;
• Promote design-led service transformation through education, process improvements and ideation/experimentation across the account.
