As Senior Service Designer, you will ensure the principles of end to end and user-centred design are central to the creation of our new digital function. You will be an experienced designer who works with minimal support and can influence and mentor others.

At this level, you:

– Will work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts

– Will make important decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts others

We want to create a diverse, inclusive, skilled and delivery environment across the whole of our new digital function, where high performing teams can flourish and everyone feels able to achieve their best. This role will play an important part in helping us achieve that.

Job description

– Rapidly synthesise: You can quickly gather data and support the team to prioritise insights from both primary and secondary research. Working closely with user researchers to define and communicate people’s needs.
– Visualising information: Potentially optimising current experiences, proposing policy interventions and/or mapping the service experiences of users identifying pain points, opportunities and discussing how they might be delivered.
