Senior Service Designer

We are looking for a strong Service Designer to join us on an initial 2-month contract position, working on one of our government digital transformation projects. This contract is a remote working role (Must be based in the UK) with the odd occasional travel to client site (London location) once or twice a month. The Snr Service Designer will be expected to start on Monday 3rd April or with a 1-week notice period max.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map journeys using insight and evidence
- Produce ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ service maps and journeys
- Use service design techniques to help communicate risks and issues in a service’s design and current implementation
- Use facilitation methods to bring stakeholders together around the design of the future service
- Understand and work within constraints
Key Skills/Experiences:
- Experience working on government/public sector projects
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, with content, service and UX designers
- Familiarity with GOV.UK design system
- Experienced working strategically and designing in detail
- Can produce service maps in variety of formats
- Experienced working with insight and analysis
- Can prototype in code
- Workshop facilitation
- Experienced working with wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders to produce outputs
- Agile working environment
