Service Designers

Nomensa
Description
Founded in 2001, Nomensa is a strategic UX design agency with a difference. We design world class digital experiences and services for an impressive roster of instantly recognisable clients, and offices in Bristol, London and Amsterdam. As members of W3C we help shape the global best practice accessibility guidelines, and directly contribute to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Our mission is to Humanise Technology, and we believe that making websites accessible for all is a basic human right, not just a legal requirement.
In response to increased demand for our services, we are looking for freelance user researchers and service designers with experience working to Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
We have the following contracts starting ASAP available to offer to collaborative individuals who can work as part of Nomensa project teams on high profile government projects. You’ll be able to work remotely, and can expect a contract of either 6 weeks duration, or 3 months, with the possibility of these also being extended.
Over 60% of our revenue now comes from the work we do with government departments, so a successful working relationship with us on a project could lead to more freelance opportunities for you. Key clients of Nomensa include the MET Office, NHS Digital, Highways Agency, and many other high profile public services that we are helping to improve.
If you’re experienced with user research and/or service design on GDS projects, so please get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to be considered for these opportunities.
