Senior Service Designer

We are looking for super-talented Senior Service Designer with a demonstrated history of growing high performing teams with a keen focus on craft, mentorship and coaching. Your craft is the story of legends, and the rest of the studio are all working their socks off to create experiences as good as yours. Depending on the day, you might be leading a team of designers, holding invaluable conversations with clients or helping the producer figure out the numbers. Our Service Designers contribute to activities on projects, including client workshops, creative brainstorms, and service definition. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentoring juniors, and helping nurture talent
• Bring together research, design, business and technology to shape the services of the future
• Use insight to drive our strategic thinking and place the human at the centre of what we do
• Work collaboratively with our teams and clients
• Inspire the team to push the boundaries of creative thinking and craft
• Plays a key role in percolating the culture and vision of the team and organisation at the grass root level
• Review the creative output, provides guidance and mentorship to more junior team members
• Utilise new tools and trends within their team to improve quality and efficiency of team’s output
• Develop the core consultancy skills to interface directly and build trust with senior clients, providing cohesive and appropriate recommendations
• Have specific opportunities to use design theory and practice to make a difference in people’s lives
• Engage in ongoing activities that enable us to learn, practice, and evolve our discipline
• Collaborate on products and services that change the way our clients do business
• Define, develop and defend their team’s output, presenting concepts and deliverables in both internal and client working sessions
• Efficiently plan and estimate project work, assign team roles and manage delivery
• Lead workshops and structured brainstorms
• Provide service design as a consultancy and strategic insights to clients
• Develop experience strategy & future experience vision
• Identify and define new opportunities to bring value to client engagements
• Curate and rationalise solutions, ensuring clear alignment with business context, client vision, and project KPIs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant experience in service design or related role such as user experience design or design research
• Passionate about service design creating human-centred services
• Sketch, Invision, Principle, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Keynote, InDesign
• Experience with quantitative research methodologies and drawing insights from data
• Knowledge of existing and emerging service design tools and methods
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience in running online and offline workshops
• Comfortable with ambiguity yet unstoppable drive to create order out of chaos
• Ability to communicate with clients and partners about design methodologies and artefacts
• Accustomed to working collaboratively with clients and cross-functional team members
• Experience producing user experience design deliverables such as screen flows, wireframes and prototypes
• A confident, creative spark combined with killer design instinct
• An advanced understanding of your client’s brand, goals and needs
• Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget
• An inspiring and persuasive presenting style
