The Role
Reporting into the Product Design Lead, you will balance qualitative and quantitative insights to advocate for the needs of over 3 million customers and the colleagues who support them.
A key role, acting as the bridge between product, technical, process design, customer experience and operations teams to think holistically about the bigger picture.
Flexible working is available from our London, Leicester or Bexhill office, and remote working considered.
What we’re looking for:
This role is critical to our customer experience, and digital growth. You will have a successful track record of Service Design. User focus is important, you can collaborate with user researchers and can represent users internally.
You can explain the difference between user needs and the desires of the user. You will have a background prioritising and defining approaches to understand the user story, guiding others in doing so.
Your experience should include, offering recommendations on the best tools and methods to use whilst communicating between the technical and non-technical, its important you’re able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
How you will make a difference:
- You will support the growth of service design within Hastings Direct, as the champion from the front, leading the discipline throughout the organisation.
- You will expose and visualise internal systems, using your knowledge and experience to help Hastings Direct implement the required tools that will enable successful services.
- You will support our multi skilled product and process design teams to map tasks, steps, journeys, services, systems, and ecosystems in the context of dependencies.
- You will present experience maps to visualise the front and backstage elements of a journey, that will build a repository of service patterns.
