Service Designer

What you can expect to be doing:

The world is changing rapidly so it is essential that we review and redesign services to address changing needs and to embrace new opportunities.
You will take a user-centred and iterative approach to designing end-to-end customer journeys. You will use evidence to solve problems, working closely with our partners and across the council, to have a positive impact on the people who rely on our services.
You will get involved in large, complex change work, leading multi-disciplinary teams and influencing people to rethink the way services are delivered.
You will be responsible for leading on activity to understand user needs, gathering and analysing information including understanding cost and performance.
You will run collaborative design activities, building relationships, influencing others, and building consensus to design and implement future services with accessibility, equality, security, and climate impact in mind.
