bout the role:

You should be able to manage the day to day running of client projects, from small to large, including effective delegation and client relationship building. You will be actively participating in business development and internal improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall success of our clients, our people and our business.

The starting salary range for this role is €55,000 – €65,000 per year, depending on your experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Run service design projects in a way that their outcome meets clients needs. This includes, but is probably not limited to
    • Undertake customer, stakeholder, expert (B2C & B2B) research:
      • prepare, plan, conduct and document research
      • support/lead workshop planning and facilitation
      • lead and set quality in “sense-making” and synthesis activities
  • Lead the creation of ideas, concepts and strategies that solve the clients challenge. This includes:
    • understand, apply and adapt Livework methods, tools and approaches in a way that fit’s the purpose.
    • align strategy and design with the capabilities and goals of the organisation to achieve impact
    • communicating concepts, journeys, blueprints, strategies & roadmaps;
    • support development and testing of prototypes
    • develop high quality presentations and deliverables
    • advise next steps to ensure sustainable impact
  • Help our clients on their transformation journey to develop sustainable Service Design and Customer Centric capabilities
    • assess client service design and customer centric capability maturity
    • develop and co-create a company wide lifecycle and journey architecture, desired end-state and capability development roadmaps
    • coach, train and guide Client teams and individual employees in building a CX/design practice
    • design the plans and key interventions to create stakeholder buy-in and commitment
    • design and implement the governance and structures to execute on the plan.
  • Contribute to our studio’s platform for growth
    • support and inspire talented junior team members in developing their service design skills
    • lead/support the crafting of proposals and approaches for new business opportunities
    • evolve client accounts to setup new projects that address their challenges.
    • participate in internal improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and owning procedures to improve how we work
    • develop your own skills and knowledge relevant to our clients and our business, actively driving self development and knowledge sharing

About you:

  • 4-7 years of work experience
  • The ability to work both independently and in close co-creation with others; to make decisions when needed yet also be able to work as part of a diverse team
  • Great interpersonal skills: the ability to develop good working relationships with people, contributing positively to relationships with our clients, and the wellbeing of yourself and other Liveworkers
  • Interest in people and the ability to relate to them with interest and empathy for research purposes; a facility to “get people to talk”
  • Strong conceptual skills; able to think conceptually and create concepts for communication of ideas, and prototyping
  • Ability to be “mentally agile”; to analyse, reframe and think on both a holistic and a detailed level
  • Ability to facilitate and be “on stage” in the context of a client workshop, training or public talk; play a key role in the planning and delivery of presentations required for these
  • Ability to organise one’s own work efficiently, deliver desired quality and juggle tasks when the situation demands; the ability to plan, effectively execute your own activities within budget, flag, and appropriately escalate risks
  • Proficient in various software packages. We use G-suite and Adobe CS primarily but the ability to learn new digital tools quickly or add to our range of skills is a bonus.
  • A willingness and ability to travel outside of the Netherlands for projects in Europe and/or globally.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a must. One other European language is a pre.
  • You have the right to live and work in the Netherlands
