Service Designer

Netherlands Enterprise Agency
As a service designer at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, a great challenge awaits you. The RVO is responsible for the implementation of hundreds of national and international regulations and subsidies. It has several websites and portals for this purpose, for example for applying for an innovation subsidy or reporting manure quotas. These services are used by tens of thousands of customers and must therefore work well. You are committed to the user-friendliness of our services. You do this from The Hague, Assen, Roermond, Utrecht or Zwolle. Do you like to work partly from home? That is possible!
Design better services for customers
As a service designer, you are committed to making the RVO products and services more user-friendly and effective. In the first phase, you investigate the wishes of the client and the needs of the end user. You do this by conducting customer research and organizing creative sessions. You then translate the results into concrete improvement proposals, such as redesigning websites or optimizing specific components. You are also involved in:
• developing service blueprints, screen designs and prototypes
• supervising projects and improvement processes
• advising on the quality and user-friendliness of services
• evaluating the effectiveness of improvements through feedback and analyses
• drawing up customer journeys
You will work in a multidisciplinary team. Together with a data analyst and a customer researcher, you will work towards an optimal user experience and service. The concepts you have developed will then be picked up by another team for further development.
