In this role, you will play a key role in improving our customer journey and employee experience by creating and optimizing delightful, efficient and human-centered services, products and processes in close collaboration with our business stakeholders and our own delivery teams. You will focus on analyzing, designing and realizing how all aspects of our (to be) services integrate and influence each other in the context of our entire customer journey service ecosystem. By successfully doing so, you will help position and grow our portfolio of design services with the field of Service Design, supporting the rest of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

      • Design and conduct co-creation workshops with business stakeholders, product managers and owners, architects, tech leads, UX designers to drive understanding of business-,technical- and user needs.
      • Communicate service concepts to key stakeholders in a knowledgeable, confident manner while advocating for the service experience of relevant personas, as well as considering the technical frameworks, the underlying architecture and processes affected by the service.
      • Research and synthesize user-,process-and technical landscape insights, gaps, and opportunities into differentiating concepts and delightful, human-centric solutions which contribute to our internal customers’ success.
      • Produce actionable insights that are relevant to key stakeholders and connect insights to our own departments- and company-wide innovation- and strategic initiatives.
      • Evaluate and validate service-and product usability on a regular basis with users, stakeholders and with our internal customers.
      • Eagerly educate and improve the skills of your team and improve the overall quality and depth of the field of Design within our department.

Requirements:

    • Ideally hold a Master’s degree in service design or relevant experience in this field.
    • Possess experience in service design
    • Have a knack for an analytical approach of larger, complex business challenges.
    • possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Have an open and inquisitive growth mindset. Loves learning new things, independently of the respective field.
    • Must be able to function independently and pro-actively in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Creative thinker.
