Service Designer

What will you be doing?
You’ll work simultaneously on one to three different projects, ranging from small to large. You’ll operate independently and be able to involve clients throughout the entire design process. Together with other Liveworkers, you’ll improve services, design new innovations, and strive for impact at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. You’ll also actively participate in acquisition activities, internal improvement initiatives, and marketing.

In your daily work, you could work on the following: preparing and conducting a co-creation workshop, helping to write project proposals for new clients, conducting interviews, analyzing research data to gain insights, leading idea generation sessions at the client’s office, drawing up and completing a journey framework, developing strategy, designing prototypes, writing a project report for the website or organizing a lunch lecture for your colleagues, and communicating our story on behalf of Livework.

Who are we looking for?

• A Service Designer with 2-4 years of work experience, with a passion for social issues
• You speak fluent Dutch and English
• You have the papers to live and work in the Netherlands.
• You are proficient in service design methods and can manage a design project from start to finish—from (qualitative) customer research, conceptualization, journey mapping, service blueprinting, and prototyping. We’re looking for someone with skills ranging from vision development and ethnographic research to actually developing solutions, implementing them, and testing them out.
• You’re a persuasive speaker who knows how to convey ideas and engage others. You enjoy facilitating sessions and leading groups in workshops, training sessions, and lectures.
• You are able to analyze, reframe and think on both a holistic and detailed level.
• You show initiative, work well independently but also in close cooperation with others.
• You can organize your own work efficiently, can deliver quality within set deadlines and budgets, know how to prioritize and actively ask for help when necessary.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to develop good working and customer relationships, and you are eager to make a positive contribution to the team atmosphere!
• Strong visual skills, such as illustrating in Adobe
• You preferably have a background in ‘strategic design’.

What do we offer?

• Depending on your education and (work) experience, we offer you a salary of €50,000 – €60,000 per year and 25 vacation days (with the option to purchase more), based on full-time employment (40 hours), including holiday pay.
