The Department ‘Global Centre Operations’ of Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) is looking for a Service Designer/Design Thinker to complement their team.
Offering and delivering services to our internal customers is the core business of Corporate Real Estate & Services (CRES).
CRES is globally responsible for Swiss Re’s corporate real estate including the management of an efficient/functional office environment and the provision of high-quality facility management services to address the daily business needs of our clients.
The demand of our customers for innovation, intelligent design and exceptional quality paired with powerful technology is changing rapidly. In this role you are a crucial driver when shaping and designing our solutions and service delivery approaches to meet our stakeholders’ needs and expectations.
The Responsibilities:
Apply creative design thinking methods to design innovative solutions and services that create excellence throughout the entire customer journey. In order to achieve that you:

Build customer insights using appropriate research techniques and data sources to understand customer needs and requirements

Evaluate, define and clearly articulate business challenges, finding the right balance between the high expectations of customers versus feasibility and the right fit for purpose

Lead and facilitate workshops and trainings on design thinking, customer journey mapping, design sprints and similar
-
Develop and define target operating models (TOMs) to structure and standardise our service offerings on a global level

Implement incremental improvements yourself or support large projects end-to-end from ideation to implementation
About the Team
The team Global Centre Operations consists of diverse experts that covers themes such as ContactOne (Swiss Re’s service delivery platform), Service Design & Customer Experience, Global Building Data & Plan Management, International Shipping, Strategic Workforce Planning, Risk & Governance, Technical On and Offboarding of new employees, Communication and Functional support and many more.
About You
A successful candidate displays:
-
Track record in service design and experienced in design thinking, UX design or similar

Experience in process design and service definition with a clear focus on customer needs
-
Ability to process and structure significant amount of data and carve out relevant data points to translate into customer insights, specifications and recommendations
-
Basic project management and change management skills in both traditional Waterfall and Scrum methods

Very good command of English, at least an understanding of German
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, Miro, Custellence
About You:

Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience

University degree or equivalent is an asset

Innovative and out of the box thinking

Proactive and curious, outgoing and approachable
-
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a global, multicultural team
