Service/UX Designer

We are looking for a UX / Service Designer for the team that is responsible for subtitles.
SVT’s vision is to contribute to a Sweden where everyone is more curious and familiar. Just over 1.5 million people in Sweden have some degree of hearing loss and many need help translating spoken language into text. Here you as a UX / Service Designer will make a difference!

This is what you do with us
As a service designer, you work customer-focused with one or more teams to create internal user experiences beyond the ordinary. Here you will find, among other things:
- drive the work of mapping our users’ situation, needs and user journeys
- further develop the design process and take ownership of the entire UX process
- work iteratively and hypothetically to understand the needs better
- together with the team drive the work of developing effective work support tools
Your team and workplace
You will be part of a cross-functional team that is represented by all the skills needed to build advanced services and work tools. You will work closely with developers and product owners, users, and other parts of SVT. You will also work closely with other service designers and UXers with daily exchanges of ideas and learning from each other.
SVT is located at Gärdet in Stockholm where we try to see each other once a week.

If you are driven by improving workflows and creating benefits for end users and are passionate about the purpose of Public service, you will find your home with us! We also believe that you share our philosophy that the best solutions are found when different competencies work together.
You like to work goal-oriented, good at taking your own initiatives and are impatient. We like to see that you are basically UXare but who can also zoom out and take a more strategic approach to the user journey and like service design. You are used to leading workshops, extensive experience of needs mapping, effect maps and user journeys as well as good experience of improvement work of work support tools. You also have the ability to transform users’ needs into concrete sketches and solutions and love iterative design processes.
