Service Designer

In the role of service designer, you will work closely with your colleagues at the development unit and the municipality’s various operations and administrations. The position is in Kungsbacka, but you will be able to mix remote work with meeting in the office.

You will lead, coordinate and support development and innovation work together with colleagues, the target group and other relevant stakeholders to develop solutions that create value and meet the needs of the target group and the business.

You will also work on developing and strengthening the innovation capacity in the organization to become better at working more with innovation and service design.

You will inspire, train, coach and support your colleagues throughout the organization in innovation work and the service design approach.

Not all frameworks for the role are set, so you will be involved and influence the development of both your role and the assignments.

Your profile

We see in you a clear team player who places great value on collaboration and has the ability to include others in your work in an empathetic way. You enjoy working in constellations with different people and skills, building networks and making contacts. You have the ability to plan and manage complex assignments with several involved parties and can run and support several ongoing assignments at the same time.

You have relevant education in service design, or equivalent experience that we consider equivalent. You have a few years of experience working as a service designer and are good at the craft of service design with experience in all parts of the process such as: research work, insight work, idea generation, prototyping & testing, packaging, scaling up and implementation. You are also used to leading workshops and training in service design.

It is advantageous if you also have experience in digital transformation, UX design, UI design, visualization and have worked with developing digital solutions. Experience in collaborative projects with external actors (innovation projects, research, companies and the like) is also advantageous. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
