Service Designer

We at Combitech in Stockholm are looking for a senior service designer who has experience in driving service design in complex organizations. The role suits you who not only carries out design work but also builds methodology and new ways of working that have an impact on the business.

What the role entails

In the role of Senior Service Designer, you work on assignments where service design is used as a strategic tool to develop services, processes and customer experiences. You are independently responsible for the design process and often act as a unifying force between operations, IT, management and development.

A central part of the role is to set or further develop working methods, methods and structures so that design becomes a natural part of the organization’s way of working. You lead design processes end to end , from insight  and analysis to concept,  roadmap  and  decision support , and are confident in facilitating workshops and working together with managers and other key stakeholders.

It is an advantage if you also have UX skills and can take the work further in interaction design, flows and concepts in close collaboration with development.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has at least five years of experience in service design at a senior level and who is used to running assignments independently with full responsibility for delivery. You have experience in setting methodologies and implementing new ways of working, and can translate user needs into clear choices and priorities.

You thrive in an advisory role close to customers and are confident in leading and  facilitating  design processes in complex contexts.
