Axpo, based in Switzerland, is a global energy company with a dynamic IT department serving over 6000 employees worldwide. As a Service Designer in Axpo’s Group IT, your crucial role involves shaping the employee experience and ensuring customer-centric services. You’ll focus on enhancing the employee journey and delivering exceptional experiences across various touchpoints with Group IT services. Joining the Collaboration Team, responsible for collaboration tools, you’ll be one of the first internal hires helping establish the UX discipline, working closely with the User Adoption and Design department.

What you will do

• Design intuitive user flows that optimize employee interactions with IT services
• Develop guidelines for various teams to empower them to adopt a user-centric perspective
• Gather user feedback and insights through interviews, usability tests, and other methods
• Communicate design changes and proposals effectively to stakeholders, facilitating decision-making related to UX
• Champion user needs and spearhead initiatives to elevate UX maturity within the organization. Coach the team in transitioning to an Agile, customer-centric structure
• Facilitate workshops to gather input and collaborate on UX/UI enhancements
• Contribute to the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces

What you bring & who you are

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in UX, Service Design, or User Research
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interactions, Human Factors, or relevant certifications
• Demonstrate prior experience in conducting usability testing and interviews
• Exhibit proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Showcase a strong understanding of UX and UI design principles
