Service Designer

Job Description

• Represent the interests of Central ICO and our partners in the execution of NHG-run IT initiatives, ensuring that systems development and implementation by ITO are in line with the Central Health digitalisation strategy
• To work closely within the Division, partners and other relevant stakeholders, to translate user requirements and ensure technical specifications of digital projects encapsulate essential care coordination needs, and are developed for feasible, sustainable use by providers
• To actively participate in IT/digital projects relating to ICO development and partnerships strengthening, championing the positions of the ICO and our partners and maintaining clear documentation
• Served as the primary liaison point between end users and NGEMR/Epic personnel and designing and/or building NGEMR programmes for collaborative care workflows to facilitate integrated care delivery among providers
• To develop and implement efficient processes and/or dashboards for regular reporting and monitoring of utilisation and provider performance against care quality indicators, to support ongoing benchmarking, evaluation and management decision-making on value-based improvements
• To keep NHGHQ, Management, partners and other stakeholders apprised of digitalisation project progress and achievements in areas relevant to Central ICO and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in health informatics, information systems, business analytics, computer science or relevant fields with 7 years of experience in a large organisation
• Knowledge of/experience in healthcare is strongly preferred
• Meticulous, keen eye for detail, strong IT/tech acumen, and ability to interpret and handle data sets
• Ability to translate complex care workflows and user/provider needs into technical development specs; ability to communicate and translate technical terms into layman language and vice versa
• Hands-on experience in project management/ product management, health tech and/or health informatics
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
