Main responsibilities:

  • Drive the design of systemic interventions in complex, multi-partner ecosystems.
  • Create and validate hypotheses/concept ideas.
  • Champion visual frameworks – like journey maps, service blueprints, ecosystem maps – that help bring clarity to complex challenges in human behaviours, relationships, workflow and processes, and drive decision making.
  • Drive contribution and alignment from multiple stakeholders, whether clients, third-party, ecosystem partner and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilise experience prototyping techniques like desktop walkthrough and role playing that help test and validate service components and to convey value propositions.
  • Orchestrate and lead co-creation workshops with clients, partners, and customers to drive the analysis of current services and facilitate the design of improved/new services.
  • Establish close working relationships with various stakeholders is a must, so that you can:
  1. Work in iterative style with internal stakeholders and customers during the prototyping and conceptualization process.
  1. Communicate effectively on insights obtained.
  1. Work with internal stakeholders alongside technical teams and project managers to identify service and product impact, requirements and action plan.
  • Getting stuff done. We work as a team and sometimes this means taking care of project management duties, stakeholder communications

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced in leading through design thinking and implementation of strategy as Service Designer or in similar role.
  • Comfortable working in cross-competence teams and communicating new concepts to a variety of audiences with appropriate tools and methods.
  • Open to working in cross functional capability – we work in a cross-competency teams, sometimes this means taking care of project management duties, stakeholder communications and building consensus between stakeholders.
  • Fluent in creating hypothesis in B2B -context as well as working proficiency in English, with ability to understand Chinese.
  • Experience in running design thinking and human-centered design projects in marine industry is a benefit.
