You will support the Office for Service Transformation in the execution and implementation of projects in the improvement of patient care and service. You will work with stakeholders to ensure the success of healthcare service transformation projects. You will assist to manage projects from its conceptualisation till its completion. You will work closely with the stakeholders to distil business requirements and design new initiatives to improve patient care and the experiences of patients, caregivers and staff at our institutions. These include conducting ethnography, data mining / gathering activities, statistical analysis, tracking the project status and monitoring the impact of initiatives. You will be involved in designing the user journey map by studying patients at various touch points throughout the service experience, identifying problem areas, and implementing improvements to the patient journey. You will support the department’s planning process and ensure an effective planning framework is in place to address the department’s and organisation’s priorities. You will also support secretariat functions at meetings and assist project leads in identifying potential journals or research publications and the scoping and drafting of the abstract in accordance with the required specifications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of work experience in service design, process improvement, and/or business transformation
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Good grasp of Statistical applications and Project Management is preferred
  • Knowledge and skill in service design, process improvement, improvement methodologies and tools & techniques, such as human-centred design, design thinking, Lean and Six-sigma, would be a strong advantage.
  • Experience in horizon scanning, benchmarking and data research, ethnography, statistical tools and techniques would be an added advantage.
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team, with dynamic reporting lines and multiples stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
  • Action-oriented, highly motivated and target-focused
  • Possesses critical thinking skills and the ability to think out of the box
