Associação Porto Digital
Associação Porto Digital is a private non-profit association, responsible for developing the strategy of innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation in the Municipality of Porto.
We are a true catalyst for the city’s digital innovation and transformation and we develop our activity along three main axes:
- Infrastructure, Networks and Communications – development and maintenance of the communications infrastructure with more than 4,000 km of optical fiber installed throughout the city, which makes it possible to provide public services to citizens, including the free Wi-Fi service which, each year, supports more 1 million devices;
- Urban Platform and Digital Services – development and maintenance of an information aggregation, processing and processing platform, which allows the development and availability of high-level applications for the management and operation of the city, namely in the areas of mobility, environment, energy and civil protection;
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship – coordination and development of the municipal strategy for the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship, aiming at community network development, as well as the internationalization and positioning of the city of Porto as a reference in the sector, with particular emphasis on initiatives such as ScaleUp Porto and the Porto Innovation Hub.
In this way, we seek to play an essential role in the design and implementation of strategies and policies aimed at making Porto a smarter and more sustainable city, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of its inhabitants, workers, entrepreneurs, visitors and tourists.
Tasks
- Evaluate digital products and services from the perspective of
end-user usability ; - Work on identifying problems, challenges and user needs;
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research;
- Produce low-fidelity prototypes and test them with the
user; - Prepare and facilitate workshops and co-creation activities;
- Create visual communication materials and worksheets to
support workshops and events; - Create documentation and reports based on
investigation activities , work sessions and other related activities; - Develop a strategic vision of the business model and assess the long-term impact of implementing the solution.
requirements
- Degree or Master in Service Design, Design Thinking, UI/UX Design, or similar;
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar functions;
- Knowledge in Service Design, Design Thinking and Lean;
- Agility with the Human-Centered Design process;
- Knowledge of graphic software, research and prototype design (examples: Balsamiq, Invison, Typeform, Illustrator, Affinity Designer…);
- High ability to structure and facilitate work sessions (workshop);
- High ability to discuss and develop ideas through
low-fidelity prototype sketches.
