Service Designer

What Youʼll Do As a Staff Service Designer, you will: Set Strategic Vision & Lead Discovery
● Partner with C-suite executives and business leaders to frame discovery objectives and define success criteria.
● Set the discovery strategy, methodologies, and frameworks that guide the entire program.
● Orchestrate Service Designers, UX Designers, and BAs to ensure coherence and quality.
● Lead high-stakes stakeholder sessions that uncover systemic inefficiencies and strategic priorities.
Drive Insight Synthesis at the Enterprise Level
● Synthesize insights across business units to identify enterprise-wide patterns and opportunities. ● Connect behavioral, structural, and process insights to strategic business objectives.
● Visualize how experience, process, and technology intersect to create or block efficiency at scale. ● Translate complexity into executive-ready frameworks that reveal transformation imperatives. Define Transformation Opportunities & Roadmaps.
● Develop enterprise-level opportunity frameworks that prioritize based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
● Create transformation roadmaps that guide multi-year investment planning.
● Lead opportunity prioritization with executive stakeholders, navigating competing priorities and constraints.
● Develop readiness assessments to evaluate an organization’s capacity for change.
Communicate & Influence
● Build and present insight decks and opportunity portfolios that drive executive decision-making. ● Facilitate strategic alignment workshops that move from insights to committed investment.
● Tell compelling transformation stories through evidence-based narratives and visualization.
● Ensure all deliverables demonstrate clear ROI and measurable business impact.
Mentor & Elevate the Practice
● Provide strategic direction, critique, and mentorship to Lead and Senior Service Designers.
● Foster a culture of insight-led thinking, strategic framing, and rigorous synthesis.
● Coach team members on executive communication and strategic storytelling.
● Contribute to the evolution of discovery methodologies and frameworks. What You Bring
Essential:
● 12-15 years in Service Design, Experience Strategy, Business Transformation, or Strategic Consulting.
● Proven track record leading enterprise-scale discovery or transformation programs with measurable outcomes.
● Deep expertise in systems thinking, service blueprinting, strategic facilitation, and opportunity framing.
● Strong ability to synthesize insights across multiple workstreams and connect them to business strategy.
● Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and influence skills.
● Demonstrated experience mentoring and leading senior practitioners.
● A portfolio or case studies that show how your strategic thinking delivered tangible business value.
