About the position
We are looking for a Sr. Service Designer to lead a Discovery & Inception project for a new Scotiabank customer segment.
Functions of the position:
- Design and orchestrate the correct route to kick off a transformational project of processes and services
- Develop resources and design tools: customer journey maps, Frameworks, blueprints, service patterns, etc.
- Work as a hinge and hand in hand with the Design Leads between the bank’s service areas and Digital Banking.
- Expand and position Service Design as a practice to evolve processes and services
- Deliver value to the digital business by deeply understanding the problem in the organization and pushing change.
Job requirements
Technicians:
- Experience implementing strategic and service design: Blueprint development, customer journey mapping, contextual interviews, design of workshops and workshops.
- Experience moderating workshops and workshops and co-creation sessions.
- Ability to synthesize data and present insights
Soft:
- Positive, resilient and passionate personality. Able to accept feedback and have a strong desire for continuous improvement.
- Know how to see the detail and also the complete problem as a whole
- Comfortable working self-guided, within narrow time frames and creative limitations in some cases.
- Creative, purposeful and quick learner
Experience
- IMPORTANT: 4 or more years of experience as a Service Designer
- Portfolio of work showing the projects you have participated in and examples of storytelling skills, from sketches to streams and detailed wireframes.
- Intermediate to advanced English
