The state pension fund provides security and predictability to a large part of Norway’s population, in many different life situations. We want to meet everyone in a good way, and aim for it to be easy to deal with us – even though pensions can be difficult to understand. To solve this in a good way, we need more service designers who can help us create accurate digital services, based on insight and a deep understanding of the problem.

We are looking for you who love to explore, survey and question small and large details. You are curious about the everyday life of the people we exist for, and use various methods of insight to create empathy and understanding. As a service designer, you will be responsible for service design related to one or more of our services. Here you can help shape how we work and how we should develop our services to make them even better. SPK is changing, and we are working to improve the entirety of our services. Service design will be important to create an understanding of this whole. Your work will contribute to the users’ problems and reality becoming the driving force for what we do next.

With us, you will also become part of a design environment with many skilled, experienced and pleasant UX and service designers. We meet regularly, share knowledge and help each other with small and large challenges. There is a low threshold for asking for help, and many are happy to share. We ourselves shape how we want it to be in the design team, and hope you will help build our professional environment.

  • Higher education at master’s level in relevant subject areas such as service design, product design, interaction design or psychology.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with service design can compensate for a lack of education.
  • Good knowledge of mindset, methodology and tools within service design.
  • Can take responsibility for planning and implementing service design work.
  • Experience in creating inclusive services.
  • You speak and write Norwegian well.

  • You are good at sharing knowledge with others and use other people’s knowledge to further develop yourself.
  • You collaborate well with others, and include others in your work.
  • You have good abilities to structure, analyze, visualize and communicate complex issues.
