The Service Designer helps plan differential experiences for users, creating new links with them, increasing their action and interaction capabilities. It is sought that the process contemplates the clients, users and/or employees, not only the product. It is important to answer the “how”, how the user experience is created and how all the internal parts of the organization align to deliver a good experience.

It seeks to create unique experiences on an emotional, social, cultural, psychological and physical level. In other words, it includes the entire business process: possible contact points for the user and for any other person who participates or is affected by the service and communication. Use is made of the information obtained by the investigation of user interviews, research and testing. The infrastructure, communication and materials that make up a service are planned and organized in order to improve the quality and interaction between the brand, employees and consumers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the main elements of Service Design
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Effective communication at technical and non-technical level
  • Experience in Wireframing, Layout and Prototyping
  • Strategic thinking
  • UX knowledge
  • Experience with qualitative research methodologies such as 1:1 interviews, usability testing, group conversation moderation, contextual research, ethnographic research, etc.
  • Desirable experience in team organization, infrastructure, processes, interactions and components of a service
  • Desirable experience in digital economic environment
  • Software: MIRO / Figma / UXPin / Illustrator / XD

Activities and Responsibilities

  • Use of tools such as User Personas, Empathy Maps, Customer Journey Maps, Prototypes, User Stories, Service Blueprint, etc.
  • Plan opportunities identification and validation strategies
  • Identify customer needs that translate into relevant business opportunities
  • Define the service strategy through different mapping tools
  • Co-create desirable, viable and feasible solutions in the short and medium term with the different departments of the company
  • Collaboration with design teams (UX, UI, Innovation Project Management) and other company profiles to design and build services and products
  • Design the implementation process and the right metrics to ensure success
  • Design and build rapid prototypes that provide a higher level of fidelity and confidence with their respective validation methodology
  • Perform benchmarking and analysis of existing solutions on the market
  • Execution of usability tests of applications, software and websites
  • Development and maintenance of wireframes and design specifications
