We are looking for a Service Designer to join our Habit Studio, the team that helps us shape the behavioral-changing experiences we deliver both within and outside hi.

As a Service Designer, your main activity will be discovering and understanding the “human behind the user,” translating your insight into every project step. This means empathizing with users and fully grasping their jobs-to-be-done. In particular, you’ll work to define and design service solutions that take into account the digital aspects of the service and the relationship between customers and services.

You’ll also be in charge of gathering information about how people interact with our product and the impact interacting with hi has on their behavior. You will seek the reasons behind actions and the wants, needs, and priorities of the people we design for, then translate them into actionable Coaching Plans to be released inside hi.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, where you’ll collaborate with content designers, psychologists, full-stack developers, data scientists, and product managers.

As a Service Designer in Digital Attitude, you will:

  • Manage multiple stakeholders’ needs, interests, priorities, and expectations effectively and sensitively;
  • Help clients and stakeholders to better frame design challenges;
  • Create key deliverables (i.e., research output, detailed user journeys, service blueprint, system map, stakeholder map, user personas, storyboards, scenarios, interaction models, wireframes & prototypes for complex systems, testing plan);
  • Put the baseline and design together with the team the strategy of hi Coaching Plans;
  • Work with cross-functional partners in marketing, design, UX, UI, engineering, and development to craft and apply behavioral insights that address some of the most complex user needs/problems.

AS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE, YOU…

Have the expertise to become our beloved Service Designer. You have 2/3 years of experience in Service Design, and you’re familiar with design tools and implementation methods (Servicer Design, Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design). You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating design activities.

You mix creativity and simplicity to make an impact. As a Service Designer, you won’t create solutions to sell or communicate something. You’ll design to shape new habits in people and sustainably impact their behaviors. Knowledge of Behavioral Design techniques and the psychological field is welcome.

Are an excellent communicator. You know how to share your ideas, focusing on who’s listening (or reading). You’re fluent in Italian and English. You know how to work closely with senior leaders, explaining design decisions to build consensus.

Put inclusivity and accessibility as priorities for your design. You know how to welcome differences in your solutions. You focus on creating experiences that will make people feel respected and empowered.

Are business-oriented. You have a strong customer and user orientation, with a keen sense to align Service Design with business objectives. You can understand stakeholders’ requirements and ensure that your solutions address people’s needs and provide them with a frictionless experience. You know how to collaborate with a variety of different people and roles.

Are a humble leader. You can guide the team to think about objectives in a new manner and overcome challenges by turning ideas into reality. You’re eager to listen to feedback, demonstrate a growth mindset, and always strive to improve and grow.

Bring value to what you do daily. You’re a hard worker, focusing on the final result. You’re into getting results from which to learn valuable insights. You’re intensely detail-oriented, caring about providing the highest quality in everything you design.

Are a great teammate. Teamwork is essential for you, and you can build quality relationships with the other Datters.
