Description of the Division:

Through Edison Next we participate in the creation of a sustainable future by operating in the energy and environmental services market. Edison Next is present in Italy, Spain and Poland in over 65 industrial sites, 2,100 structures (public and private) and 280 cities, with over 3,500 people.

Activity:

In Edison NEXT, within the Marketing and Communication direction, within the Digital Accelerator function, we are looking for a Service Designer in order to support the project groups in the development of high-impact digital solutions for all the business areas of the division, with particular focus on the design/redesign of business processes.

The Digital Accelerator function operates in coordination with Edison’s Strategy Corporate Development & Innovation Division and with the ICT Management and acts in support of all BU structures with the responsibility of accelerating and promoting digitalisation within the Division and in particular:
– identify and propose innovative technologies and digital trends which, in line with strategic objectives, support the Division in creating new business opportunities and solutions built around customer needs;
– define the digital strategy of the Division and propose potential technological partners to promote the digital transformation of the Division;
– address demand within the Division and support the internal BUs in the design and development of processes and solutions in collaboration with the Strategy Corporate Development & Innovation Division.

The selected person will be responsible for the following activities:
• design of the user experience of the digital solutions developed for Edison NEXT, in close collaboration with other company figures (Scrum Masters, Data Scientists, Developers, etc…) and the relevant stakeholders • Accompany the customer in defining the project perimeter
using design and communication tools (research, storyboard, journey map, service blueprint, workshops, shadowing sessions, etc…)
• Encourage the existence of a dynamic flow of information and feedback within the team and with stakeholders
• Coordination of projects design-driven within the division

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has the following requirements:
• Master’s degree preferably in Design (Service, System, Product, Communication) or Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as a service designer in digital agencies or in digital teams within large companies
• An excellent level of knowledge of graphics and prototyping tools, such as to allow him to independently manage his contribution to the projects by working in close contact with the colleagues involved from time to time, relating to the different areas of the division • A curious and open-minded
character exploration of ever new themes and collaboration with multidisciplinary groups, with a strong attention to detail
• Creativity and proactivity in proposing original and effective solutions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional working groups
• A strong passion for technology and 360° design, experience in the use of analytical tools are preferential.
Complete the profile having gained experience in the design of E2E digital solutions in structured companies.
