Service Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION
We seek a Service Designer with a keen interest using Design Research and other
human-centred methodologies to solve public health problems in India and Bangladesh.
They would support and collaborate with relevant teams at various moments of the

Human-centred Design process, as and when needed.
You will do the following:
● Use appropriate and effective secondary and primary research skills to be a voice for the user,
understand health context and to inform meaningful and innovative solutions.
● Regularly document research conducted in a cohesive, organised manner.
● Help to analyze research data to form a relevant and shared understanding of the context and
people. Summarise and communicate research appropriately for ideation / brainstorming.
● Actively participate in co-creative ideation / brainstorming to collaboratively come up with
relevant service models and propositions.
● Collaboratively develop service blueprints that integrate user needs analysis (i.e. experience
flows), multiple touch points and back-end service delivery systems, processes and
capabilities.
● Actively participate in creation of service prototypes and experiments, collaborating with
relevant stakeholders for the same. Plan and execute rapid testing of prototypes and collect
feedback on the same to improve the service / products.
REQUIREMENTS
● Someone with an undergraduate degree in Design, OR any other field followed by at least 2
years of experience in Design Research, Design Strategy, Social Design, UX or Service Design
disciplines.
● Ability to visualise service models, journey maps and service blueprints as needed. Using
software to do the same (Ex: Mural, Miro, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
● Ability to zoom in and out of a given problem as needed.
● Someone who’s actively collaborative and interested in learning new things!
● Attention to detail, process documentation and basic project management skills

NICE-TO-HAVE
● You can sketch and make quick storyboards
● You have experience in theatre or improv
● You have a good understanding of quantitative data analysis
