Lead Service Designer

As Lead Service System Designer, you will own defining and overseeing implementation of serviceability features and requirements across the product portfolio of Imaging Fleet Solutions. You will collaborate with global service, cross-functional, and multiple product teams to lead the successful delivery of these service features.
This is a critical role ensuring success of released products across regions a growing customer base for Fleet Solutions portfolio.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Partner with global service, customer reps, and engineering team to convert serviceability need into solid user requirements for NPI programs.
- Drive service functionality and tools adoption across the Fleet Solutions product portfolio.
- Lead service technology initiatives to keep improving products with new features.
- Coordinating with different stakeholders for gathering feedback from service teams and customers.
- Collecting and analyzing service metrics for continuous improvements.
- Supporting service integration, readiness, and rollout activities for NPI programs.
- Being a key member on the cross-functional program team and engineering design team to ensure appropriate prioritization and design decomposition for service requirements.
- Bringing a Designed for Service (DFS) mindset to the team.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- 10+ years of professional experience.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience working in a Service or Systems Engineering team.
- 5+ years of systems design experience in software domain.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical leadership team to implement product platform/subsystem multi-generation technology plan for a specific release of a global program/product.
- Exposure to Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines.
- Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability in proactively identifying, facilitating, and driving closure at various levels.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience in systems design experience in medical software domain.
