Job Purpose
As the new member of EY Hungary’s continuously growing Customer & Growth Team within the Business Consulting Service  Line, your main task will be to develop new or improve existing products and services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of desirability (users), feasibility (technology), sustainability, and viability (business) in  different industry sectors EY is active in. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service design, with a proven track record of working on both domestic and international projects. As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and service delivery for our clients, ensuring that our solutions are user-centric, innovative, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define & align on the project scope with business stakeholders
  • Lead and manage end-to-end service design projects, including workshops and stakeholder discovery sessions, with focusing on:
    • Collect and analyse customer data & market insights to validate most critical assumptions
    • Plan and conduct user research, and convert findings into an actionable report
    • Translate insights into deliverables such as problem statements, customer archetypes, cross-channel journey maps and service blueprints
    • Formulate and present the value proposition & convey complex information by using visual methods
    • Develop comprehensive business cases outlining financial drivers, needed investments, and 3–5-year forecasts, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create user-centered solutions
  • Design service blueprints, journey maps, and other deliverables to communicate service strategies
  • Being open to work in international environment, other countries and cultures

Skills & Qualifications

  • Min. 3 years of experience in service design and delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Service Design, HCI, or related field
  • Expertise in service design methods, systems thinking, and user research
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills both in Hungarian and English
  • Experience with conceptualization, brainstorming, and iterative prototyping, employing multiple methods like staging and role-playing
  •  Project and people management skills, with experience as both a leader and individual contributor
  •  Ability to organize data into clear service design blueprints and communicate ideas to diverse partners
  •  Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe, Miro, Sketch, InVision, or similar
  • Be creative in how to solve ambiguous and complex problems
