Job Description

You are a professional service designer with extensive experience in designing digital solutions. You are willing to drive change across business divisions and cooperating closely across disciplines, functions and hierarchy levels comes naturally to you. You feel comfortable in classical and agile working environments. You want to play an important role in making sure that our digital solutions are exciting, safe, sustainable and competitive. With this position, you can make a difference.

  • Conscientious coordination. You support in the implementation of compelling digital solutions and coordinate service design projects across the whole lifecycle from generating insights and ideating potential solutions to validating business cases and visualizing future opportunities.
  • Observe and think ahead. You act as a key interface between all internal and external stakeholders. Your ability for empathizing with people and your analytic way of thinking enable you to recognize and address challenges pro-actively and creatively.
  • Integrated implementation. You know that the secret ingredient for achieving great results lies in aligning user, customer and business needs. While others may still struggle with the complexity of an issue, you make things tangible and enable teams to come up with a common solution.
  • Think holistically. Thinking in systems is part of your professional DNA. When it comes to developing differentiating digital solutions, you keep the whole journey of users and customers in mind and consider internal processes and organizations.
  • Take responsibility. You live and breathe service design. You make sure our digital solutions and the relationships we form with our customers reflect Bosch’s high standards when it comes to exciting, safe and sustainable experiences.

Qualifications

  • Personality: emphatic, pro-active, creative, communicative, self-confident, reliable, resilient
  • Working practice: user, customer and target orientated, analytical, well-organized, good in working under time pressure, experienced in simultaneously working on different projects
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in service design or customer experience management for digital solutions, high level of proficiency in visualizing and communicating complex ideas, very good analytical and conceptual skills paired with advanced business and organizational knowledge, top-level understanding of Bosch domains, experience as a moderator
  • Qualifications: experienced with interaction design and prototyping ranging from paper sketches to digital prototypes, proven communication and presentation skills, high level of proficiency in working with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch and other current design tools
  • Enthusiasm: passionate about working in cross-functional teams and co-creating solutions with customers, enthusiastic about understanding needs and solving problems
  • Languages: fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
  • Education: diploma or master’s degree in a design profession (preferably service design), psychology or in a technical discipline with comparable working experience
