Service Designer

As a Service & Interaction Designer in our Design Innovation and Expansion practice, you will join a cross-functional team. This team creates and brings to life product and service experiences through research, design, prototyping, business modelling and storytelling – through the physical and digital experience. You will be working closely with your team and the various project stakeholders to create “just enough” to test our assumptions and understand what we should build in the future.

What you’ll do

• Be part of the end to end design process: user research, concept creation, prototyping, strategy design, UX + UI, collaborating with strategy and development teams.
• Apply a human-centered design research approach to create insights, develop concepts and envision how users will interact.
• Creatively contribute by identifying opportunity areas for inventions as well as their experiential requirements and inspire various business stakeholders along the journey.
• Design joyful experiences using physical product tests, user interfaces, physical prototyping (different fidelities), production-ready design directions.
• Build compelling stories to communicate design outcomes to your team members, the larger product development team and stakeholders.
• Convert abstract concepts into visually engaging and understandable artefacts using methods such as information architecture, blueprints, user journeys and flows. To support this, create detailed sketches and wireframes to demonstrate key interfaces and interactions to potential new customers and business stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in human-centered Interaction Design, Experience Design or a similar field
• Experience in physical as well as digital prototyping followed by planning and conducting testings and piloting activities with service or product users
• Experience in visually converting business requirements into design concepts and a holistic experience
• Advanced knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Miro, etc.
• Ability to plan, run and synthesize interactive design workshops with business stakeholders
• The willingness to be flexible and mobile for field visits. The travel requirements will change on a per project basis.

Bonus if you bring

• Experience in Visual Design skills to enhance the product development process.
