MISSIONS

The Reception and Process Support Department of the City of Bordeaux is looking for a Service Designer within the Support and Studies mission of the User Relations Department.

As a public service designer, you contribute to improving the consideration of users in public policies and operational projects of the City of Bordeaux: by organizing their listening, by identifying levers for improvement and by structuring proposals to provide better service at the best cost.

The main missions are as follows :

You support business departments in taking users into account:

– Contribute to the strategy of simplification and improvement of service to users, particularly in the area of ​​reception.
– Develop and implement relevant proposals for simplification and improvement of the quality of service for users.
– Intervene in support and advising management to co-pilot or take charge of part of the work, on issues that can be complex such as the structuring of a reception, organization of user support, redesign of user routes with management of associated organizational impacts.
– Co-build and implement pilots/prototypes to experiment with solutions.
– Develop approaches consisting of “reaching out” to users (particularly remote audiences).
– Produce an evaluation of the results of the experiments.
– Manage the service providers of the framework agreement specialized in user relations who will support the business departments and liaise with the latter.

You contribute to the dissemination of the culture of user relations:

– Contribute to the development of methodological tools such as the user relations kit to link with the stages of project management of the City of Bordeaux.
– Share knowledge, methodologies and tools with management project managers, particularly to seek new innovative support approaches.

You participate in the core projects of the user relations strategy as a member of the project team:

– Participate in monitoring bodies and discussions on the evolution of the project and its scope.
– Participate in the various projects resulting from the current user relations strategy.
– Propose and conduct concrete and innovative experiments.

You provide expertise in supporting collectives in a “user” approach to projects and public policies managed by the City’s operational departments. You share tools and methodologies that contribute to taking the user into account.

EXPECTED PROFILE

You have experience in project management and support in change management.

You have good command of project management and graphic design.

You have great interpersonal and writing skills.

You are able to work independently and cross-functionally.

Your curiosity, your sense of analysis, your adaptability and your dynamism are essential assets to successfully carry out your missions.
