Service Designer

Service Design is part of the large family of “Human Centered Design”, in which we find User Experience Design (UX), User Interface Design (UI), … but its essential difference lies, both in a service design and innovation approach on the user side (the Frontstage), but it also makes it possible to understand all the orchestration that will be put in place within the information systems (the Backstage).

Within the IT Group (ITG) Architecture department of BNP PARIBAS, your mission will be to participate in the evolution of BNPP IS by promoting the design of digital and phygital ecosystems that are useful, efficient and easily usable. You will bring through your analysis of business needs and different points of contact, an ability to respond to user experience issues. You will be responsible for the proper implementation of the courses in the various IS of BNPP.

You will aim to find the best possible balance between the usefulness, usability and user expectations of IT services, all in a logic of frugality aimed at meeting a need in the most simple and efficient way possible and in using a minimum of resources. You will be responsible for the proper understanding of uses and journeys from a user point of view. You will also be responsible for the relationship between the “product/service” and the customer through all of their journeys.

You will maintain strong interactions with the businesses/functions and their IT to understand the business challenges and the needs of the users of the BNPP IS and you will support all the ITG Architecture teams (architecture, data and technology watch) and more broadly the IT teams of BNP Paribas in the adoption of a user-experience oriented culture within architecture, data and technology watch practices.

You join the End To End Experience team within the ITG Architecture department, which contains different areas of expertise such as architects, data experts or business domain experts.

Are you our future Service Designer?

Yes if, with a BAC+5 training in computer science, you have at least 7 years of experience in the field of Design. You have contributed to projects related to this field within a bank. Participating in the realization of several projects combining business and IT issues does not scare you; you carry the user vision and know how to share it.

Your English is fluent and you have strong service design expertise and a good knowledge of banking. You are an expert in the design and presentation of products and services, but also in user experience (UX) and the customer journey approach. Finally, you have a good knowledge and digital culture.

Customer oriented, you are recognized for your active listening. You are able to adapt to a changing environment. Finally, your creativity and ability to solve problems as well as your ability to anticipate business developments will convince us.
