Lead UX and Service Designer

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the Lead UX/UI Designer for KPMG Finland’s software development projects, delivering interactive mockups and detailed designs in collaboration with product owners and developers.
- Collaborate as a Lead Designer on various customer facing projects, ensuring design excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Utilizing user-centric service design methods to research and develop new services that meet users and customer’s needs.
- Conducting user research to understand and map needs, pain points and processes.
- Engaging in service development and concepting, including current status analysis, creating target states, benchmarking, customer insight and value research, and refinement of vision and strategy.
- Designing participatory innovation workshops, encouraging creative thinking and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
- Acting as an ideation challenge coach and workshop facilitator.
- Utilizing rapid prototyping and customer testing methodologies to create new designs.
- Serving as an in-house designer, supporting various design-related initiatives and projects across the organization.
You’re a strong candidate if you have
- Proven experience in UX/UI design, service design, and conducting user research.
- Relevant degree in Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies and participatory design approaches.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
You’ll help our teams and clients succeed if you have
- Ability to create, edit and use video to convey new ideas and concepts.
- Evaluate websites usability and accessibility through heuristic usability and user experience evaluations and using WCAG 2 guidelines.
- Created data visualizations for Power BI and other needs.
- A proactive and self-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with design and technology trends and best practices.
- Experience in website usability evaluation, video editing tools and Power BI data visualization.
