Senior Service Designer

We’re looking for a UX Designer / Senior Service Designer to join our lovely team and contribute to the evolution of our company’s strategic offering at Hydrastudioz

You will own and execute the end-to-end process of strategy & service design projects – balancing between business strategy, research findings, and creative innovation to understand and solve our clients’ needs.

You will own the service & business design function at the company level, liaising with our Global Business Design Director.

You will uncover user needs through research, develop and translate insights, generate concepts, ideate and craft how people will interact with the products and services we design.

You will develop customer journey maps and future state blueprint design maps, prototypes and user flows.

You will lead and facilitate design & innovation workshops and create prototypes to help communicate current and intended future state experiences across both physical and digital touchpoints for customers.

You will liaise with key client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and will work closely with our internal team of Designers, Developers, and Project Managers to provide strategic consultancy to our clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
• An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
• Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts
• Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
• Provide assistance to product engineers when needed
• Recommend new tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques
